Growing up I was taught to always have everything and to always be number one. Yet I was not and my parents were not happy, so I learned that if I do not drive at a certain age or finish college at a certain it was bad for me. So I always had this fear of being behind. When we as a society want and expect to much of what we desire in life, fear is born. Soon we than become consume in that desire and lose the true meaning of living. Sorrow builds up in our hearts when we can not reach what we desire and fear of losing control clouds our mind. Happiness is than taken away from us. Living is about God's plan not ours and our culture ways or of society's way. Never seek approval of others as a way to live your life. Embrace your blessings not your desires, for they are only illusions of what is simple living.
